I still remember what it felt like to sit in a classroom and not feel seen. That memory shapes everything I do.
I’m a fourth-grade teacher, National Board candidate, Project-Based Learning coach, and adjunct college lecturer with 18+ years in education. My work spans six grade levels, three countries, and roles ranging from classroom teacher to teacher educator.
Whether I’m teaching students, coaching educators, supporting preservice teachers, or consulting with a district, I believe every learner deserves learning experiences built on their strengths, not their gaps. That belief is the foundation of my work.

Keynotes, sessions, and workshops on Project-Based Learning, literacy, student engagement, and culturally responsive teaching, grounded in research and real classroom experience.
Every student walks into the classroom with strengths, stories, cultures, and lived experience worth building on. My work in the classroom, in coaching, and in consulting starts there. I believe in learning that's student-centered, inquiry-driven, and designed so every learner feels seen, heard, and engaged.
